You can find us on the Main Road in Sector-7, right in Jagriti Vihar. We are pretty close to Jk Opticals, which is a good landmark for anyone looking for the shop. Meerut can be a loud city, and the traffic on the main road is constant, so there is always a background noise of horns and engines. The shop itself is simple. We have the usual barber chairs and a long counter with all the different bottles and brushes. The mirrors have a few scratches on the edges, but they’ve been there since the beginning. We spend a lot of time sweeping up hair because the door stays open most of the day. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fan stays on constantly, humming away. We usually have the radio playing some songs, nothing too loud. People from the offices nearby or the houses around the sector come in quite often. It’s a place where you can just sit down and not have to talk much if you don't want to. We use the same old cupboards to store the clean towels and the extra blades. It’s not a fancy setup with lights and music, just a local saloon where we do the work. The days go by fast when there’s a line of people, and we just take it one person at a time until it's time to lock up.
