Y.S. Look Hair Saloon

Y.S. Look Hair Saloon is located over at Bhumiya Pul in the Feroz Nagar area. It’s right on Lisari Road here in Meerut. The street is usually full of bikes and carts. I’ve been working at this spot for a while. The shop is just a simple room with some big mirrors and two main chairs. I keep my tools on a small wooden trolley that I move around. Lisari Road is a long road and there are many shops, but people seem to find me okay. The 250002 area is quite busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. Sometimes the dust from the road comes inside, so I have to wipe the counters every few hours. I don’t have any help, I just do the work myself. My family lives not too far from Feroz Nagar. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat it in the back when there are no customers. The ceiling fan wobbles a little when it’s on high speed, but it keeps the air moving. I have a small TV in the corner that’s usually tuned to the news or a cricket match. People like to watch it while they wait. It’s a basic life, but I like being my own boss at Bhumiya Pul. The days are long but they feel productive enough for me.
