You Like Hair Salon is located at number 78 in Jagannathpuri, right on Ambedkar Road in Meerut. We are in the Old Mohanpuri area, and if you are looking for us, we are quite close to the Ajanta Band office. This part of Meerut is always humming with some kind of activity. The shop is a straightforward barber shop for the local men. We have three chairs and a long wooden bench where people sit and wait their turn. We usually have a newspaper lying around or the radio playing some old songs. It’s not a place with air conditioning or anything high-end. We just have the ceiling fans and the big open door to let the air in. The walls are covered with some old pictures of different hair styles that have been there for years. We know most of the regulars by their names because they’ve been coming here since they were young. Sometimes the street gets very noisy with the traffic or the band practicing, but we just get on with the haircuts and shaves. We don’t have any fancy systems for appointments, so people just walk in whenever they have time. It’s a small business and we keep it simple. We make sure the razors are sharp and the towels are as clean as we can get them. It’s just a normal day-to-day shop in a busy neighborhood.
