Yer Hair Saloon

Yer Hair Saloon is located near the SBI Bank in Abdullapur. It is a convenient spot for people living around this part of Meerut. We have been here for a good number of years. The shop is basic and doesn't have any of those modern gadgets you see in big cities. We just have our scissors, some clippers, and a few bottles of aftershave. The smell of the powders and creams is something you get used to after a while. Most of our customers are locals who work nearby or live just down the street. It’s a quiet area compared to the main city center, but it picks up when the bank is busy. We usually have a newspaper lying around for people to read while they wait. The chairs are old and have been repaired a few times, but they are still sturdy. We don't have a fixed schedule for breaks; we just eat when there’s a gap in customers. It’s a one-room setup, and we keep it as tidy as we can. Some days are slow, and we just sit by the door and watch the traffic go by. Other days, we are busy from morning till night. It is just the way it goes. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a local hair saloon where you can get a decent cut without any fuss.
