Womens Look Beauty Parlour

Being located in Section 7 on Ito Road means there is always something going on outside. Womens Look Beauty Parlour is quite close to Rangoli Mandap, so when the wedding season starts, this whole area in Shastri Nagar gets incredibly crowded with cars and people. Our shop is a simple place with the usual setup you’d expect in Meerut. I spend a lot of time cleaning the combs and making sure the towels are dry. The fan on the ceiling makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving when it gets really hot in the afternoon. People from the nearby houses come in for their regular stuff. It’s mostly threading or a quick trim. Some of the younger girls want something different they saw on their phones, so we try to do that. The chairs aren't new but they are comfortable enough for a quick visit. I like the morning time best when the sun hits the front window, before the dust starts to settle from the road. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or use a hand fan. It’s a small business, and we just handle things as they come. There is no point in pretending it’s a big fancy salon. It is just a place to get fixed up and have a little chat before going back to work or chores.
