Varisht Beauty Parlour

Varisht Beauty Parlour is my small shop located in Sakoti Tanda. We are out here in Meerut, very close to the railway station. Being near the station means we see a lot of people coming and going all day long. I opened this place because there weren't many spots for the women around here to get their hair and beauty work done properly. It is a simple setup with just the basic equipment. I spend most of my day here, from the time the first trains start moving until late at night. Sometimes the trains are loud, but you get used to the sound after a while. I do haircuts, bridal makeup, and regular stuff like waxing and threading. It’s not a corporate salon, just a local business where I know most of my customers by name. The floor is tile and easy to clean, and I try to keep the place looking decent. My sister sometimes comes in to help when there are too many people waiting. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just some plastic chairs, but the work is honest. People in Sakoti Tanda seem to appreciate having a shop nearby. If you are getting off at the station or just live in the area, you can find us easily. I’ve been doing this for years now, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. It is my main livelihood.
