Taj Hair Saloon

Our shop is located on Rudki Road here in Meerut. It’s been at this spot for quite some time, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. We are just a small local hair saloon. Nothing too flashy. Most days start early because men want to get their beard trimmed or a quick haircut before heading to work. We have a couple of chairs and some old mirrors that have seen many years of service. It gets quite hot in the summers, but we have the fans running constantly to keep some air moving. It’s a place where you can just sit down, grab a newspaper, and wait your turn. We don't really do appointments or anything fancy like that. You just walk in, see who is free, and get your hair cut. The guys working here have been doing this for a long time. We know the local stories and what’s happening on Roorkee Road. It’s a simple business. We don't spend money on big ads or fancy signs. The sign outside is a bit faded now, but everyone knows where we are. Usually, it’s just the sound of the clippers and maybe the radio playing some old songs in the background. It feels like home to us since we spend more time here than anywhere else. We just try to do a decent job so people keep coming back month after month. The tea guy comes by twice a day and we usually take a short break then.
