Shape N Style Unisex Salon is located at C-2/8 in the Central Market of Shastri Nagar. Meerut can be a very busy place, especially around this market area. We are right near the Mutooth Fincorp building, so people usually find us without too much trouble. It is a unisex shop, which means we see all kinds of people throughout the day. Some women come in for threading or getting their hair done, and men come in for a quick trim. The space is not very large, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside. I’ve noticed that people in Shastri Nagar like things to be done a certain way, so I try to listen carefully to what they want. The mirrors are old and have a few marks on them, but they still work fine for what we do. We have been in this spot for several years, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. The market outside is always noisy with cars honking and people shouting, but once you step inside, it is just the sound of the scissors and some light music on the radio. We don’t try to be like those big city salons with the glass fronts. We are just a local shop where you can get your hair cut without spending too much money. It’s a simple business for simple needs. We keep a small notebook to write down our daily expenses and earnings at the end of every night.
