Satil Hair Saloon

You can find Satil Hair Saloon over in Meerut City, specifically on Kila Road in the Pachpeda area. It’s an old part of town and things are always a bit chaotic outside the door. There are carts and bikes passing by all the time, making a lot of noise. Our shop is small and sits right on the edge of the busy road. Inside, we have our stations set up with the basic stuff we need like shears and sprayers. The mirrors have a few smudges on them no matter how much we wipe them down. We get a lot of local guys coming in from the nearby houses and businesses. It’s a very local vibe here. We don’t use any fancy language or have a big front desk with a computer. You just walk in and wait your turn on the wooden bench we have against the wall. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when there are four or five people waiting, but nobody seems to mind much. We talk about the weather or the local news while we work on the hair. The scissors have that specific clicking sound that fills the room when it's quiet. By the time evening comes, we are usually pretty tired and ready to close the shutters. We’ve been on Kila Road for a long time and we know the rhythms of the street. It’s just a honest way to work and spend our days.
