Sangam Hair Dresser Salon

You can find us over in Tej Vihar, tucked away near the Star Public School in Meerut Cantt. Sangam Hair Dresser Salon has been sitting in this same spot for a few years now. It is a relatively quiet neighborhood during the middle of the day, at least until the school bell rings and all the kids and parents start filling up the street outside. Our shop is just one regular room with a couple of chairs and some mirrors on the walls. We do not have a big team, it’s just two of us working most of the time. Most of the men from this part of Meerut come to us for their regular haircut every month or so. We have gotten to know most of them by their first names. This isn't one of those high-end salons with bright neon lights and piles of magazines. We just provide a place where you can sit down and get your hair taken care of without any extra fuss. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we have to switch to using the manual clippers, but we always manage to finish the job. People seem to like that we are close to the school because they can drop in while they are waiting to pick up their children. The floor stays covered in hair until we get a quiet minute to sweep. It is a straightforward, honest business for us.
