Saloon Hair Dresser

Saloon Hair Dresser is located in the Main Market area of Kasimpur, Sanik Colony, in Meerut Cantt. It’s a small shop right in the thick of things. I’ve been running this place for quite a while. We mainly do haircuts and shaves for the men who live around here. There are two main chairs and a long mirror that stretches across the wall. The shop is quite basic. We have a ceiling fan to keep the air moving and a small television in the corner that’s usually on a news channel. People from the colony come in and sit on the wooden bench to wait their turn. It’s a place where everyone knows everyone. We talk about local news or whatever is happening in the market. The floor gets messy with hair during the day, but I sweep it up every few hours. I don’t have any fancy equipment, just my scissors, combs, and a razor. I keep them in a small cabinet by the sink. The market outside is always loud with people and vehicles, but it’s a good spot to be. We open early because a lot of the army guys need a shave before they start their day. It’s an honest business. I don’t charge much, and I try to do a good job so people come back. It’s not a modern salon, just a regular neighborhood barbershop where you can get a decent haircut without any trouble.
