Rishi Hair Cutting Saloon

My shop, Rishi Hair Cutting Saloon, is tucked away in Rajban Market in the Rajban Bazar area of Meerut. We are very close to the landmark known as Rajban Ka Pul. If you find the bridge, you are almost at our door. I have been working here in the 250001 area for many years. The market is an old place with a lot of character. I like being part of this community. The shop itself is nothing too special to look at from the outside, but we do good work inside. I handle the scissors myself most of the time. It is a traditional hair cutting saloon where the conversation is just as important as the haircut. We talk about local news or the cricket scores while I work. I don't have a big staff, so it’s usually just me and maybe one other guy helping out on busy days. The floor is old and the chairs have some wear on them, but they are comfortable enough. I believe in doing a job properly without rushing, even when there is a line of people waiting. Rajban Bazar is a place where people appreciate honesty and hard work. I’ve made many friends over the barber chair. It’s not just about the money, it's about being a part of the neighborhood. That’s how we’ve always done things here.
