Rigal Hair Saloon

Rigal Hair Saloon sits right near the Roadways Bus Stand on Delhi Road here in Meerut. Because we are so close to Begumpul and the bridge, we see a lot of travelers coming in who just got off a bus and need to look decent before their next stop. It is a busy area with a lot of dust and noise from the traffic outside. We keep the shop open early and stay until late in the evening because that is when people are moving around the most. The space isn't very large, but we make it work with three chairs and some big mirrors on the wall. Most of the guys who work here have been doing this for years, so they know how to handle all kinds of hair. We don't have any air conditioning, just the ceiling fans that hum all day long. Sometimes we talk about the cricket scores or whatever else is happening in the city while we work. It’s the kind of place where you can just sit down and not worry about much. We get a mix of regulars who live in the colony and strangers who are just passing through Meerut on their way to Delhi. It stays pretty hectic on Saturdays, but that is just how business goes around the bus stand. We just try to keep the shop clean and the customers satisfied with how they look. There is no fancy stuff here, just haircuts.
