Raja Hair Salon

Shardapuri Road is where you’ll find our little shop. We are tucked away in a corner of Meerut City, not too far from the Kanker Khera area. Raja Hair Salon has been running for quite some time now. The street gets very busy during the morning rush, but it’s mostly quiet in the hot afternoons. We have a few old chairs that have served us well over the many years we've been open. We mostly handle regular cuts for the people living nearby. Nothing like what you see in the fancy magazines, just what the local men want. We see a lot of kids coming in with their fathers on the weekends. It can get a bit hectic then, with everyone wanting to get finished and go home. We don't have air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that works hard all day long. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint by now, but the place feels like home to us. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It’s not just about cutting hair; it’s about having a chat while we work. We use standard scissors and old-fashioned razors. It’s a straightforward business. We keep our hours consistent so people know when to find us. Usually, we're open from early morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay a bit later if a regular needs a trim. It’s just how we do things here in our part of Meerut.
