Punnu Hair Saloon

Punnu Hair Saloon is located in Rajban Market. We are in Jabli Gang, part of the Rajban Bazar area in Meerut. You can find us near St Mary School. It’s a busy little spot, especially when the school lets out and the kids are everywhere. I’ve had this shop for a long time. It’s not a big place, just enough for two or three people to get their hair done at once. The floor is made of old tiles that are a bit cracked. I try to keep it clean, but it's hard work with people coming in and out all day. Most of our customers are from the bazar. They come for a basic haircut or to get their beard lined up. We use the standard tools you find in any Meerut barber shop. Scissors, razors, and a few clippers. I have a small television in the corner, but it doesn't always work right. People don't mind. They like to chat instead. We talk about cricket or the local news in Rajban. The street outside is always noisy with carts and people shouting. Inside, it's a bit more peaceful for everyone. I’ve seen many generations come through these doors. Boys who used to come with their fathers now bring their own sons. It makes me feel a bit old, but it’s nice. We don't do any big advertising or anything. Word of mouth is enough for us. If you need a haircut and you’re near the school, just walk in.
