Praveen Hair Saloon

Our shop is over on Rohta Road, right in the Tej Vihar area of Meerut City. It’s easy to find because we are quite close to Star Public School. You can often hear the kids during recess or when the bells ring for the end of the day. Praveen Hair Saloon has been here for a while now. The space inside is practical and we try to keep it tidy, though there’s always a bit of dust coming in from the road outside. We have the usual setup with the big chairs and the spray bottles. Most of the people who stop by are parents from the school or guys who live nearby in 250002. It gets busy in the afternoons. I spend a lot of my time standing up, so my legs get a bit tired by the evening. We have a few fans going to keep the air moving when it gets stuffy inside. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or anything like that, just a local spot for a haircut. Sometimes we run out of tea and have to send someone down the street to get some for the staff and the regulars. That’s just how it goes here. We don’t really have a big sign or anything, people just know where we are. It is just a straightforward place where you can get your hair trimmed without any fuss. We stay open until the last customer is done for the night.
