New Star Mens Hair Cut Salon

We are located at A-18 in Metro Plaza, which is on the main Delhi Road in Meerut. Being in a plaza means it’s a bit different from a street shop. We have a glass front, so you can see inside. We get a mix of people, from young college boys to older men who have lived in Meerut their whole lives. Delhi Road is always packed with traffic, especially in the evenings. The plaza has its own rhythm, with shops opening and closing at different times. We have three chairs in our salon. We do all the standard haircuts and shaves. Some of the younger guys ask for the latest styles they see on TV, and we do our best with that. We use standard clippers and scissors. The air inside is usually a mix of talcum powder and aftershave smells. We have a small radio that plays music most of the day. It’s not a huge place, but it’s enough for what we do. Sometimes the mall's power goes off and the backup takes a minute to kick in. We just keep working through it. It’s a decent spot to be in, and we’ve gotten used to the busy nature of the plaza. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is a simple life and the customers are mostly quite friendly.
