New Paris Hair Saloon is tucked away in Jagriti Vihar at Shop No. 114/2. We are right by the Bijli Ghar in Meerut, so the location is pretty easy to explain to anyone who lives nearby. It’s a simple spot where we handle haircuts and shaves for the local community. I chose the name New Paris a long time ago, even though we are just a small shop in a busy part of Meerut. The shop inside is basic, with just the essential tools and a few chairs for customers to sit. We don't have a lot of space for waiting, so people often stand outside and chat if the chairs are full. The Bijli Ghar area stays active throughout the day, which keeps us busy. Most of our customers are from the 250004 zip code. We don't use fancy products or have a big menu of services. If you want a haircut, you sit down and we get to work. I’ve been cutting hair for years, and it’s what I know best. The shop has a bit of a worn-in feel, which I think makes people feel comfortable. It’s not a place where you have to dress up or act a certain way. We just do the job and talk about whatever is going on in Jagriti Vihar. It’s a practical business for the people who live and work around here, and we plan to keep it that way for a long time. It’s just our way of life.
