New Best Hair Salon

You can find us on the first floor of Star Palace. It's right there on Western Kutchery Road, just across from Rama Plaza. Being in the Bachcha Park area means it is always busy outside. I spend a lot of my day looking out the window at the traffic while I wait for the next person to come up the stairs. The stairs are a bit narrow, but once you get inside, there is plenty of room. We have been here in Meerut for a while. The shop has these big chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough. I usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background. It helps pass the time when things are slow. Most of the people who come in are regulars who work in the offices nearby or people who are just passing through the park area. We do all the usual stuff like haircuts and shaves. I keep the spray bottles filled and the towels stacked up near the sink. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit by the window for light, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. I don’t bother with fancy decorations or anything. Just the basic tools and a place for people to sit. It’s a straightforward shop for a straightforward haircut. If you’re near Star Palace, you’ll probably see the sign pointing up to the first floor. It stays relatively cool in here even during the hot summer afternoons.
