Nannu Hair Saloon

Nannu Hair Saloon is over on Garh Road in Meerut, specifically in the Tej Garhi area. We are quite close to the BSNL exchange, which makes it easy for people to find us if they are heading that way. The shop is at B-27. It’s a straightforward hair saloon for men mostly. We have the usual barber chairs and big mirrors that show every bit of gray hair. The morning starts early for us because men like to get a shave or a haircut before they go to their jobs. We hear a lot of stories about what is going on in Meerut while we work. The sound of the clippers is pretty much constant throughout the day. When it’s not too busy, we sit outside on the bench for a bit of air. Being near the BSNL exchange means there’s always people moving around the street. We’ve got some old posters on the wall and the shelves are full of different creams and bottles of aftershave. It smells like talcum powder in here most of the time. We don't bother with fancy decorations because people just want a decent haircut and a bit of a chat. The fans hum along and we try to keep things moving so no one has to sit and wait too long. It is just a regular local shop where we know many of our customers by their names.
