Naaj Hair Cutting Saloon

This shop is on the Main Road in Ganga Nagar, specifically Shop No. B-6. We are right across from Karan Plaza, which is a big landmark here in Meerut. Being on the main road means there is always noise from the traffic and people shouting. It is a hair cutting saloon for men. We have the usual revolving chairs and big mirrors. The floor is tiled, which makes it easier to sweep up the hair at the end of the day. We have been at this location for a while now, and the 250001 area is pretty familiar to us. Most of our customers are guys from the neighborhood or people working at the plaza across the street. We keep a TV on in the corner, usually showing the news or a cricket match if one is on. It is nothing fancy, just a place to get a haircut and maybe talk about what is happening in town. Sometimes the water pressure is low, but we manage. We keep the scissors sharp and the combs clean in the drawers. It is a straightforward business. We open the shutters in the morning and close them once the sun goes down. People just walk in, sit down, and wait their turn on the plastic chairs. No fancy booking systems or anything like that here. Just a local spot on the road where people come to get a trim.
