M.S Hair Salon

If you walk down Ganga Nagar Road in Meerut, you’ll see our shop at No. 32. We’re right near Madhu Dairy, which most people know well. Our place, M.S Hair Salon, has been part of this street for quite some time. It’s a small shop with a blue front and a couple of revolving chairs that have seen better days but still work fine. Usually, you’ll find one of us standing by the door when there’s no customer, just watching the bikes go by. We get a lot of students and office workers coming in since we’re on a busy stretch. The radio is usually playing some old songs in the background while we work. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the dairy next door is busy with deliveries. We keep our tools sharp and our towels washed, though they might be a bit faded. Most of the men who come here don't say much, they just want a decent haircut and maybe a shave if they have the time. We don’t do anything fancy like those big malls. It’s just a neighborhood barber shop where you can get a quick cut. Sometimes we run out of tea and have to send someone down the street to get a pot. It’s a busy life here in Meerut, but we like the routine of the shop and seeing the same faces every week.
