Monu Hair Saloon

You can find Monu Hair Saloon inside Gali No. 3 in Brahmpuri. It is right there in Master Colony in Meerut. Being in a narrow lane means it stays a bit shaded but it also gets very crowded when two bikes try to pass each other. The shop is small and we have to keep things organized so nobody trips. We have been in this spot for years. Most of the people living in Brahmpuri walk past us every single day. We see the same faces every morning. The light inside the shop is a bit dim but we have enough bulbs to see what we are doing with the razors. Meerut gets very hot and the air in the gali can feel quite still sometimes. We have a small bench outside where people sit and wait if the chairs are full. Usually, they just talk about local things or the news. We do not have any fancy equipment, just the standard stuff you find in any local barber shop. Monu Hair Saloon is just a part of the neighborhood. We start early in the morning and do not close until late at night. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use hand fans to keep the customers comfortable. It is just a normal shop run by normal people. We do not make a big deal out of anything. We just cut hair and keep the place running as best as we can.
