Manoj Salon

Manoj runs this salon on Pac Road in the Gurukul Dorli area of Meerut. It is a straightforward place where people from the neighborhood come to get their hair sorted out. We have been at this 250001 location for a good bit of time. The shop is not very large, but there is enough room for a couple of people to sit and wait. We keep a few old magazines around, though most people just look at their phones now. Being on Pac Road means we see a lot of traffic going by throughout the day. The routine is always the same, opening the shutters in the morning and sweeping the floor before the first person arrives. We handle all kinds of hair, from kids who don't want to sit still to the older men who have been coming here for years. It is a local business through and through. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their names. There is no fancy music playing, just the sound of the scissors and the street noise coming inside.
