Looks Hair Cutting Saloon

I’ve been working here at Gol Market for quite a few years now. It is a small shop in Sec-8, Jagriti Vihar, and most people around here know where we are because we are right near the Shiv Mandir. If you walk down Garh Rd, you can’t really miss the turn. It is just a basic place. We have three chairs and some big mirrors that have seen better days. Every morning I open the shutters early, usually around nine, and sweep the floor before the first customer shows up. Sometimes it gets really busy on the weekends and people have to wait on the bench outside. We don’t have fancy air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that hum all day long. My cousin helps me out when the crowd gets too big. We do regular haircuts, shaves, and sometimes a head massage if someone asks for it. The tools are kept in a drawer that sticks a bit when you pull it. Most of our customers are locals who live in the nearby blocks. They come in, talk about the local cricket matches or the weather, and then head home. It is a simple life. We don’t do any of those trendy styles you see on TV, just honest work for a fair price. The neighborhood is loud and full of life, especially with the temple right there. It feels like home to us and everyone who stops by.
