Laser Cut Salon

Laser Cut Salon is located on the first floor right above Rahat Medical Store in Vedvyaspuri. We are on the Delhi Road in Meerut, just opposite Subharti, so we get a lot of university students coming in between their classes. Being on the first floor means you have to walk up some narrow stairs, but it gives us a good view of the traffic on Delhi Road. You can see the buses and cars moving toward the city or out toward the highway. The salon has a few mirrors and the usual barber chairs that have seen better days but are still sturdy. We have a small balcony area where we sometimes keep the mops and buckets. The light inside is a bit dim in the corners, so we use a few extra tubes on the walls. Since we are across from the university, the atmosphere is usually quite young and loud with people talking about their exams or cricket. The floor is often covered in hair by mid-afternoon because it gets quite busy. I usually keep a bottle of water and some magazines on the center table for anyone who has to wait. It’s not a very fancy place, but it serves the people living and studying in this part of Meerut well. We open up late morning and stay until the street lights come on outside. It is just a regular shop where students can get a quick cut without spending too much.
