Kumkum Beauty Clinic Parlour

Shastri Nagar is always busy, especially around Central Market. Kumkum Beauty Clinic Parlour has been at C-2/8 for a good while now. We open up the shop in the morning and start getting things ready for whoever might walk in. It's mostly local ladies from the neighborhood who come by. Some want their eyebrows done or a quick haircut before they go to work or back home to finish chores. The market gets really crowded in the evenings, so that's when it gets a bit hectic for us. We try to keep things organized but sometimes there is a wait. It’s a small place, nothing fancy, just a regular spot where people feel comfortable sitting and talking while they get their hair dyed or skin treated. Meerut weather can be quite harsh on the skin, so a lot of people come in asking for something to help with that. We have our regulars who have been coming for years. They know where everything is and often just help themselves to a glass of water from the back. It’s nice having that kind of relationship with the customers. Sometimes we talk about what is happening in the news or just local gossip while working. It makes the day go by faster. Being right here in Central Market means there is always noise outside, but inside we just focus on the job at hand. We do not do any advertising; people just find us by walking past.
