Kanchan Herbal Beauty Parlour

My shop, Kanchan Herbal Beauty Parlour, is tucked away in Gali No 6 of Phul Bagh Colony. It is right on the Main Road, Garh Road area of Meerut. I picked this spot because it is close to where a lot of families live. It is a very local kind of place. You won't find any big neon signs here. I mostly use herbal products because I think they are better for the skin in this heat. My neighbors are my main customers. We talk about the local news and what is happening in the colony while I work on their hair or do a facial. The shop is small and simple. I have a few chairs and all my bottles lined up on the shelves. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out with the door open to get some breeze from the street. It is not like those big salons in the malls. This is a neighborhood parlour where you can come in your slippers and just relax for an hour. I have been running this place for a long time and I know exactly how each of my regulars likes their eyebrows done. It is a quiet life in Gali No 6, but it keeps me busy and I like being part of the community here in Phul Bagh. I keep the mirrors clean and the floor swept, and that is enough for me.
