Iskcon Beauty Parlour

This parlour is at 82/1, Railway Road in Meerut City. We are right opposite the Baraf Khana. In the middle of summer, that’s a good place to be near, though it doesn’t make our shop any cooler. We have a small sign outside that people look for. Inside, it’s mostly just a few chairs and a table with some beauty products. We do things like threading and basic skin treatments for ladies. Meerut can be a very busy city, and Railway Road is one of those places where you always have to watch out for rickshaws. The noise from the street comes right through the door. We have some regular ladies who have been coming to us since we opened. They like that we don't rush through the work. We usually have some water ready for anyone who walks in because it’s so dusty outside. The floor is tiled, which makes it easier to clean up after someone gets a haircut. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations, just some simple mirrors and a few pictures of different styles. It’s a quiet enough place once you get used to the traffic sounds. We just take things one customer at a time and try to keep the place tidy. Most of our work is done by hand, and we take our time with the details. It is just a small business on a busy road.
