Himankit Beauty Parlour

You can find Himankit Beauty Parlour right in Gali No. 1 of Adarsh Nagar. We are in the Kanker Khera area of Meerut, practically opposite the police station. Having the police station right there makes the area feel quite safe, even when we stay open a bit late. The parlour is a modest setup. We have a few chairs and the usual tools for hair and skin work. I remember when we first moved in, the walls were a different color, but we painted them ourselves to make it feel a bit brighter. It is a local spot, so we don't get many strangers. Most of the women who come here live just a few streets away. We talk about family and local news while I work. It is a small business, so I handle the cleaning, the supplies, and the actual parlour work too. Some days the water pressure is a bit low, which makes washing hair a bit of a challenge, but we manage. We have a small bench outside for people to sit if the inside gets too full. It’s nothing fancy, just a practical place for the ladies in Adarsh Nagar to get their work done. The street outside is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache. Still, we like it here. It’s a busy little corner of Meerut and we have our own rhythm.
