If you walk near Geeta Bhawan in Prahlad Nagar, you will see our salon. Goldy Hair Cutting Salon has been in this part of Meerut for a long time now. It is not a very big space at all. We have just enough room for a few people to get their hair done at the same time. We do all kinds of cuts like short or long or whatever someone asks for. We also do beard trims for the men. The tools we use are very basic like combs and scissors and manual clippers. We keep everything as clean as we can. Sometimes the shop gets full of dust from the street but that's just how life is here. We have a big mirror on the wall that is a bit old now. The chairs are the kind that spin around which the kids seem to like. We see a lot of families coming in together. Fathers bring their sons here for their first haircuts. It is a friendly place for the neighbors. We don't have any fancy music or free coffee. Just plain water if you are thirsty. The street outside is always moving with people going to Geeta Bhawan or the local market. We stay open most days of the week. Sometimes we close for big festivals or family things. It’s a good spot in the 250002 area. We like being part of the community here. People just find us by walking past.
