Glam Up Beauty Parlour

Our shop is tucked away in Jagriti Vihar Sector 4, right near Deewan Public School. Because of the school being so close, we see a lot of parents and teachers coming in during the afternoon hours. Meerut can get quite cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, so we are always adjusting the environment inside to stay comfortable. The shop is not very large, just enough space for a couple of chairs and a small waiting area for people. We try to keep things organized, but with bottles of lotions and hair clips around, it always looks like a busy workspace. It is a relatively quiet neighborhood compared to the main city center, which is nice for us. We spend our days doing simple haircuts, waxings, and maybe some henna for special occasions. We do not have a big marketing plan; word of mouth from the neighbors is how most people find out about Glam Up. The floor is made of tile and it is a bit worn out near the chairs where we stand all day. We have a small TV in the corner, but it is usually off unless there is some big news everyone is talking about. Sometimes the local kids stop by just to say hello on their way home from school. It has a very local feel here. We have been at Shop Number 220/1/4 for some time now and it feels like we belong to this street.
