Facebook Salon

The salon is located in Madhavpuram over in Meerut. Specifically, we are in Section 3, and if you know where the Community Hall is, you can find us pretty easily. It’s a simple setup. The name usually makes people look twice when they walk past, but it’s just our little place. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. There are a few stations for hair and a spot for people to sit while they wait their turn. The floors are a bit worn from all the walking back and forth, but we keep them clean. In this part of Meerut, things can be quite lively during the day. You hear the kids playing nearby or people heading to the hall for functions. We get a mix of regulars who have been coming for years and some new faces who just moved into the area. It’s the kind of place where the radio might be playing in the background, or maybe just some local news on a small TV. We handle hair mostly, using whatever scissors and combs are handy. It’s not a big corporate chain. It’s just us here in the shop. Some mornings we spend time just reorganizing the bottles of oils and shampoos on the shelves. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just taking things one person at a time. We’ve been in Madhavpuram for a bit now and it feels like home. It is just a regular spot for a haircut.
