Brijwasi Caterers is located at 1152, Indra Nagar, on Gali No. 4 in Meerut. We are situated right near the Shiv Durga Mandir in the Indra Nagar neighborhood. Our daily life revolves around big pots, heavy stoves, and the smell of spices. The kitchen is always a bit hot and humid because of all the cooking we do for the local events. We aren't a fancy restaurant; we are the people who bring the food to where the party is happening. Most mornings start very early with trips to the market to get fresh vegetables and sacks of flour. We spend hours chopping, stirring, and tasting to make sure things are alright. The space on Gali No. 4 can get a bit crowded when we are loading the vans with large containers of daal and sabzi. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and careful packing so nothing spills on the way to the venue. We have been in Meerut for a good while, and being near the Shiv Durga Mandir means everyone knows where to find us. We don't use any high-tech systems, just old-fashioned cooking methods and a lot of hands-on work. Sometimes the floors get a bit slippery from the steam, so we have to be careful. It’s a busy, noisy, and honest way to make a living, just providing food for the people in our community when they have something to celebrate.
