It’s a lively part of town. We have the tandoor going for most of the day. It gets pretty hot in there, especially when the Meerut summers are at their peak. We don't have a big fancy shop or anything like that. It’s just a small place with a few of us working. People usually find us by the smell of the fire or just by asking around near Sahi Kapara. We’ve stayed in this same location for years. Most of the people who come here are our neighbors or folks working in the nearby shops. We don't spend money on marketing or posters. Word of mouth from the people on Erdgah Road is enough for us. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. Sometimes we run out of bread early if it’s a busy day, and we just have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It’s not a perfect system but it’s how we run things. We are just a local tandoor shop doing our best in this busy part of the city. We don't try to be anything else but ourselves.
