We have been here at Western Kutchery Road for quite some time now. People know us as the place across from Goyel Bath Palace in Chippi Tank. It’s a busy spot. Most days are just a rush of making rolls and burgers for the crowds coming through. The shop at Number 16 isn't very big but we make it work. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside but that’s just Meerut for you. We started this because we wanted to give folks a place to grab a quick bite without waiting too long. There’s no fancy seating or anything like that. Just regular tables and chairs for anyone who needs a break. My cousin helps out in the kitchen and we keep things moving. We see a lot of students and office workers during the day. At night it’s mostly families from around Chippi Tank. We don’t really do much advertising. People just see the sign when they are driving past or walking to the market. It’s hard work being on your feet all day but seeing the same faces every week makes it okay. We try to keep the spices right so it tastes like home. It’s not a five-star place but the food is hot and the water is cold. That’s usually enough for most people around here. We just keep the doors open and the stove going.
