Krishna Food Court

You can find us at 199 Bankers Street in the Sadar Chowk area of Meerut. We are situated very close to the police station there, which makes the location pretty easy to describe to people. The food court is a place where different folks from the neighborhood come together. It’s not like those big malls you see in the metro cities; it’s more of a local spot. We have several tables laid out and we try to keep the place tidy, though it’s a constant battle with the dust from the street. Sadar Chowk is a busy part of Meerut, and Bankers Street always has people moving about. We open up and get the cleaning done first thing. Then the cooking starts, and the smells fill up the space. We have a few staff members who have been with us since we started. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a place to get some food and sit down for a bit. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to scramble to get the backup going, but that’s just life here. We see a lot of people from the nearby offices and some of the officers from the police station too. It’s a decent place to work, even if it gets a bit hectic during the lunch hour when everyone arrives at the same time.
