Big Style Salon

Big Style Salon is sitting right at Shop Number 46 in the Main Bazar. If you know Ghantaghar in Meerut, you know how busy it gets around here. Our shop isn't anything fancy, just a place where folks come to get their hair sorted out. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The fan hums all day and the mirror has a small crack in the corner that we never bothered to fix because it doesn't get in the way of seeing the cut. Usually, the mornings are a bit slow, just the sound of the shutters opening up and down the street. Then by afternoon, it picks up. People pop in after doing their shopping in the market. We have those old-style chairs that still work fine. Sometimes the tea guy from next door brings over a few cups when we have a gap between customers. It gets loud outside with the bikes and the rickshaws, but inside it’s just the sound of scissors. We don’t do appointments or anything like that. You just show up, sit on the bench, and wait your turn. My cousin helps out on the busy days, especially on Sundays when everyone wants to look decent for the week ahead. Meerut summers are tough, so we keep the water spray bottle full. It’s just a regular shop for regular people who live around 250002. There is nothing more to it than that.
