Asha Beauty Palour

My name is Asha and I started this parlour here in Sakoti Tanda. It's just a small place for the ladies in our neighborhood to come when they need their eyebrows done or a quick haircut. We've been in this part of Meerut for a while now. Most people know us because we are right here in the main area of the village. It isn't anything fancy, just a few chairs and some mirrors. I usually work by myself or sometimes a relative helps out when it gets busy on wedding dates. People come in, chat for a bit while they wait, and then head home to cook dinner. I try to keep things clean and tidy but the dust from the road always finds its way in somehow. It gets quite loud outside with the tractors passing by, but inside we just keep doing our work. I don't have a big staff or anything like that. It's just a regular local shop where we do threading, waxing, and some simple facials for the girls around here. If you live nearby in the 250223 area, you've probably seen our sign. We open early most days and stay until the sun goes down. Sometimes if someone has a function, I stay open a bit later. It is honest work and I enjoy talking to the neighbors every day. It’s just how we do things here.
