Arzoo Beauty Parlour

Arzoo Beauty Parlour is located at 6 Mawana Road in Meerut. We are right by Lal Park, which is a nice landmark for people who aren't from this specific neighborhood. I started this place because I liked doing hair and makeup for my friends, and eventually, it turned into a real business. The shop is cozy. It is not one of those big malls where you feel lost. Here, you just walk in and we talk about what you need. Most of my days are spent doing threading, waxing, or maybe some henna when there is a function. Meerut can be quite hectic, but inside the parlour, it is usually just a few women chatting and getting their hair done. I keep a lot of magazines around for when there is a wait. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use the hand fans, but we manage. My daughter helps me out sometimes during the busy weekends. We see a lot of regulars from the houses nearby. It is nice to see the same faces every month. I don't have a big sign or anything, just the name on the door. It feels more like a home than a shop sometimes. I make sure the floor is swept and the towels are clean every morning before I start. It is a simple way to make a living, and I am glad to be here on Mawana Road.
