Kisanmitra Agricare Producer Company Limited

Our place is at Hig/C/397 in Siddharth Enclave, right near Bhagat Chauraha in the Taramandal area. We are called Kisanmitra Agricare Producer Company Limited, which sounds a bit formal, but we are just local folks interested in agriculture. Most of us have some connection to the land around here. Being in Taramandal, we are close enough to the city but our hearts are really in the fields. We started this because we saw that farmers needed a better way to get what they need for their crops without so much trouble. We aren't doing any big fancy marketing stuff. We just talk to the people we know and try to figure out how to make farming a bit more stable for everyone involved. It’s a lot of practical work. We spend our time looking at seeds, fertilizers, and how to keep the bugs away. It’s not always pretty work, but it’s what we know. The office in Siddharth Enclave is where we keep our papers and meet up to discuss the next season. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. It’s just us. We use simple English and talk plainly because that’s how we are. We've seen how hard it is for a lone farmer to get ahead, so we are trying this group approach. It’s about being a friend to the farmers, like the name says. We just take things one day at a time and see what needs doing next to keep things moving.
