D K N Agro Private Limited is situated in Barsahara, over in the Sabang area. We operate from Mantulal Nayak’s place. It’s a typical agro business where we deal with what the land gives us. Sabang is a place where people know the value of hard work. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to run a solid business that helps the local economy a bit. My days usually start early, before the sun is even fully up, because that’s when the most work gets done. There are always sacks to move or records to update. We keep our paperwork in order, but we’d rather be outside. The address in Barsahara is where we keep our main office, but it’s really just a base of operations. We talk to neighbors and other folks in the trade every day. It’s a tight-knit community here. We don't use any of those shiny marketing tricks because everyone knows who we are and what we do. If we say we’re going to do something, we do it. That’s how we were raised. The agro business can be tough with the shifting seasons and market prices, but we’ve learned to be patient. We just take it one season at a time and hope for a decent harvest. It’s a simple way to live and work, and it suits us just fine here in Sabang. We stay busy.
