Bengal Biotechnology & Agriculture Private Limited

Our place is in Gopali, near the Salua area. We work on biotechnology and agriculture. It sounds a bit technical, but really we are just looking at ways to make plants grow a bit better or deal with common pests. It is a mix of lab work and getting our hands dirty in the soil. We have a small facility here. It is not some high-tech skyscraper or anything. It is actually pretty basic inside. We spend our days checking on samples and talking to local growers about their crops. Sometimes things don't grow the way we expect them to, and we have to start all over again. That is just how it goes with biotech research. We aren't a giant company with huge budgets to spend. We just do our research and try to be useful to the farmers in West Bengal. The area around Gopali is quite nice, with plenty of green space. We like being out here rather than in the middle of a big city. It makes the work feel much more real. We have a few benches outside where we sit and talk through any problems we are facing. It is a quiet life for the most part. We focus on the science and the farming. No big marketing campaigns or anything like that. Just us, the plants, and the data we collect. It is a steady kind of job. We are mostly busy during the planting season. There’s always more to learn about the local soil and crops.
