Purnachandra Higher Secondary School

Purnachandra Higher Secondary School is situated in Kainfulia, which is a green and quiet part of Mayurbhanj. The school sits on a decent piece of land where the air feels a bit fresher than it does in the bigger towns. We have several buildings that have been added over the years as more students from the surrounding villages started coming to us. It is a long walk for some of the kids, but they make it every morning through the red soil paths. The morning assembly is usually the loudest part of the day, with voices echoing across the open courtyard. We don't have all the high-tech gadgets you might find in a city school, but we have enough desks and blackboards to get the job done. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been with us for a long time. They know the families in Kainfulia well. Sometimes the roof leaks a bit during the heavy monsoon rains, but we patch it up as best as we can every year. The 757107 area is quite peaceful, so there isn't much to distract the students from their work. During the lunch break, many students sit under the big trees to eat their tiffins. It’s a very grounded place. We spend a lot of our time just managing the day-to-day things, like fixing a broken bench or organizing the sports gear for the afternoon. It is an honest, hardworking environment where the main goal is just to finish the syllabus on time.
