Chitrada (Junior) College

Chitrada (Junior) College is right here in Chitrada, Mayurbhanj. It’s been around for a while now. People in the village know where it is. We mostly deal with students finishing high school who need to do their intermediate studies. It’s a quiet place, lots of trees around the area. The building isn't brand new, but it works for what we need. Most of the staff are from nearby towns. We spend a lot of time just making sure the kids actually show up for class. The office is usually busy in the mornings with paperwork and parents dropping by to ask about exams. Mayurbhanj is a big district, so some students travel a bit to get here. We have a small playground and a couple of main blocks for the classrooms. It's not a fancy city college with elevators or anything like that. Just a regular place for local kids to learn. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just open the windows and keep going. We don't have a big website or anything, just this spot in the community. You can find us easily if you're coming from the main road in Chitrada. We try to keep things organized but sometimes things get a bit messy during admission season. That's just how it goes here. Everyone knows everyone else, which makes it feel like a small community rather than a big institution. We’re just doing what we can for the students around here.
