Meghasan (Junior) College

Out here in Nudadiha, things are pretty quiet. Our college sits right in the middle of this part of Mayurbhanj, serving the families who live nearby. It’s a junior college, so we mainly see the younger crowd finishing up their schooling. The buildings are simple, mostly just concrete rooms with rows of wooden desks. We don't have a lot of modern technology, but we have the books and the teachers. Every morning, you can see students arriving on cycles or walking from the nearby villages. The staff handles everything from the admissions to cleaning up after the day is done. It’s a small team, so we all know each other well. During the monsoon, the ground gets a bit muddy, but we keep the classes going regardless. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. People find out about us through word of mouth, mostly from neighbors whose kids came here before. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the students are ready for their board exams. There is a small staff room where we drink tea and talk about the day's plans. It’s a humble place, honestly. We just want to make sure the kids in this area have a place to study without having to travel too far away from home. It's just a regular part of life in the village, providing a spot for learning and gathering. We just keep things moving along for the community.
