Rayyan Caterers

If you find yourself near the State Bank on Nellikai Road, you are pretty close to where we set up shop. We are in Polymer House, which is a sturdy old building that has seen a lot of years. At Rayyan Caterers, the day starts long before the sun is even up. You can usually smell what we are doing before you even see the door. There is always a big pot of something steaming on the stove, and the kitchen gets pretty warm once everything is moving. We aren't a big corporate office with suits and ties. Most of us are in aprons, worried about whether the rice is just right or if the spices are hitting the mark. Nellikai Road is always moving, and we are part of that flow, getting containers ready and making sure everything is packed up tight. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day and lifting heavy crates, but it’s what we know how to do. We’ve got a small team here, and we mostly just talk about the next order or what needs to be cleaned up next. It’s not a glamorous job, but there is something good about seeing the food go out the door. We stay busy, especially on weekends when everyone seems to be having a party or a gathering. We just keep our heads down and keep cooking in our little corner of Polymer House.
