New Tajmahal Cafe P Ltd

Our cafe is right in the middle of Hampankatta, which is always a busy part of Mangalore. We are situated exactly opposite Wenlock Hospital, so we see a lot of people coming in from there throughout the day. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned place. We have been operating under the New Tajmahal Cafe P Ltd name for quite some time now. People usually drop by for a quick coffee or some snacks while they are waiting for appointments or just passing through the market area. The atmosphere is very local. You will see a lot of office workers and students sitting around on most afternoons. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. It's just a regular spot where you can sit down for a bit. The building is older, which gives it a certain feel that you don't find in the newer malls. We focus on getting the food out reasonably fast because most of our customers are in a hurry. Being in such a central location means there is always noise from the street, but that is just how it is in Hampankatta. We handle the daily rush as best as we can. It is a simple operation. We don't try to be anything more than a standard cafe for the general public. If you are near the hospital and need a bite, we are right across the road. We stay open throughout the day to serve whoever walks in through the door.
