Foodys is located in the Inland Avenue Building on M G Road in Mangalore. We are right in the Lalbagh area, which is a pretty good spot to be. The Reebok showroom is nearby, so people often wander in after they’ve been looking at shoes. It gets very humid here in Mangalore, so we have the fans going all the time. The building is fairly modern compared to some others. We have a mix of people coming in, from office workers to families out for the weekend. We don't really do anything fancy with the decor. It’s just plain tables and chairs that are easy to clean. We spend a lot of time on prep in the mornings. MG Road is always busy, so there’s never a quiet moment. Sometimes the parking out front is a nightmare, but people find a way. We have a small staff and we all do a bit of everything, from taking orders to cleaning up. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just open the doors and hope people like the food. It’s just a regular restaurant in a busy part of town. We’ve been here for a while and most people in Lalbagh know where to find us. It’s a simple operation and we don't try to make it more complicated than it needs to be.
