Goodies Arabian Taste

Goodies Arabian Taste is based in the Nalapad Residency Building on Light House Hill Road. We are right in the Hampankatta area of Mangalore, just opposite to KMC. Being so close to the medical college means we see a lot of students and staff coming in for a bite. The hill road is quite steep, and there is always a lot of movement. We specialize in Arabian food, so the smell of grilled meat and spices usually drifts out onto the street. It’s not a very big place. We have some tables squeezed in, and it can get quite cramped during the lunch rush. The kitchen is always busy, and you can hear the cooks talking over the sound of the grills. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people know us because they walk past and smell the food. We use simple plates and napkins. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the evening if it’s been a busy day. The floors get a bit sticky from the spills, but we try to wipe them down when there is a break in the crowd. Hampankatta is the center of everything here, so it’s always loud and fast-paced. We just try to get the food out quickly so people can get back to their classes or work.
